Part 5; Putting It All Together
Testing my mettle against difficult conditions. I had to take a break from trading the EURCAD, I was getting a bunch of trades in NY Session hours and they were too easy to execute.
The AUDUSD is my nemesis. This trade was made after a break, I started to lose my mind a bit. Breakout of axis line, redistribution trade.
I took a few trades on the EURCAD, but they were too easy (if there is such a thing) and it put me into self sabotage mode. I started to think “I can’t trade this shit, when the markets get difficult I will forget how to trade.” This manifested in me PURPOSELY TAKING SHIT TRADES AGAINST MY STRATEGY TO LOSE!” . So…. I have revealed a weakness in myself. I self sabotage. Do I think I am not deserving? I must get a handle on this.
The AUDUSD trades above were made after I went for a walk. I had to go clear my head and tell myself, “I am a calm, confident, analytical and consistent trader.”
The video below is what was going through my head when I got messed up by those easy trades.
Below I have 2 examples of re-accumulation trading ranges on NZDUSD and EURCAD. I believe the entry on both of these trades was probably too early. The blue line in the NZDUSD example is an axis line, my though is I should have waited for the consolidation above the blue line to breakout.
